Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, our upcoming concerts have been cancelled until further notice.
Please keep an eye out for further updates, or contact us for more information.
We look forward to welcoming you all to our rehearsals, and to our rescheduled concerts, in the near future!
As soon as we are up and running again, rehearsals will take place at 'The Tryst' on Wednesday evenings.
If you'd like to join the choir, contact our Chairman, Alistair Barclay, for more details.
Membership currently costs £60 per year.
All that is needed is enthusiasm for singing and a willingness to attend rehearsals regularly.
All new members welcome without audition.
Pitlochry & District Choral Society is a well-established mixed voice amateur choir with around 60 members.
Whilst based in Pitlochry, its members are drawn both from the town, and surrounding areas. Since its foundation in 1987, PDCS has performed a diverse range of choral music, from major works such as Haydn’s Creation and Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, to less familiar items such as Alexander McCall Smith’s poems set to music by Tom Cunningham in the haunting piece Scotland at Night.
We hold two concerts each year in December and April.
We aim to encourage a friendly atmosphere in which everyone enjoys singing.
New members of all voices and ages are welcome at any time and there is no audition.
Singing is a natural way of relaxing & it's fun too!, so why not come along & give it a go?
The Tryst is located behind the Church of Scotland. Access is off West Moulin Road, and there is limited parking around the church. If you prefer there is parking on the left hand side of West Moulin Road just after the Town Hall and before you reach the lane to the church.
